Zu Audio the makers of speakers seen on the set of Madmen, the American audio revolutionaries working to bring the fun back to hifi audio, have a series of 1/8th-inch(mini) to RCA (L/R) cables for auction on eBay.  These iPod cable are the same Tesla/Litz design you’ll find in Zu’s mid-range Mission cable.  I had a pair in for several months of review time with their Zu Omen Def speakers, which also use the Mission cables inside the speaker, and can tell you the bass and lower mid-range are enhanced while remaining fast and clean.  The mid-range is clear as can be at this price point and the highs are detailed.  In fact besides the constant offering of a more developed low end, the mids and highs reflect the backing components.  They are very transparent.
Take a look at the eBay auctions. Â Zu has come up with some crazy colors. Â 80′s neon pink, yellow, trippy hippy colors and even white to match the new iPhone.
At this point bids are around $25 which is a pretty freaking sweet deal if you ask me. Â Check them out.
