Strength:

Everything under the sun

Weakness:

None. These are the best cables in the WORLD

These cables are the best cables in the world. They sound great with my Onkyo receiver and my Bose and Legacy speakers. These cables are soo much better than the expensive ones that the experts on this page informed me to stay away from. A must buy.

Strength:

Still priced right

Weakness:

Still not priced high enough for certain audiophiles

As far as the NAD CD player and Adcom amps, both have been reviewed by your idol's publication with flying colors.

And as far as growing up, maybe when you surpass puberity and learn you don't have to use profanity to get your point across, people might start taking you more seriously. It also might help if you had enough courage to give your name.

Strength:

cheap cheap cheap

Weakness:

not the last word on RFI/EMI Rejection

$ensible $ound says it best: In controlled AxB double-blind cable testing, there is NO correlation between cable price and user preference. That means that in SOME systems some very expensive interconnects will still sound better than cheap Radio Shack interconnects. Problems is, if you do a wide range of testing, you won't find a consistent correlation between cable price and a listener's preference for sound quality. Cables can and do modify the sound properties of a signal; But the expensive cables don't do it in a consistent fashion.
In terms of transfer function, the JPS SuperConductors are probably the best cable in the world if "at first, do no harm" is your standard. However, some systems work better with some cables than others because very few systems (perhaps none?) are perfect, and perhaps could use some mild contouring.

If these cables float your boat, then you've saved a bundle.

Strength:

Good price, Clear treble

Weakness:

none at $5 a pair

got these for 5 bucks at RS. When compared to the AQ cables, the midrange is clearer and more transparent, but the bass is pretty bad, although I really liked these cables, I chose to stick with the AQ and make a $10 profit off the RS cables.Incredible value for the performance, and it still would not have been a bad deal had I bought them for full price.

I had a difficult time choosing between Monster and RS-Golds. I went with Golds, and I am not disappointed. I was more concerned with the protection of my components' outputs. I encourage the use of gold-plated terminals with A/V equipment. As far as performance,I noticed a sufficient bit of clarity with sound and picture. Anything is considerably better than the cheap stuff you get with your components. The price was not bad for the amount of work that was placed into these cables. Honestly,I have yet to be completely convinced that cables can do more than a well-designed line conditioner. These cables can hold their own.

I have better cables for my CD player. I am using these cables for the VCR & Cassette Deck. They are a big improvement over the cables that came with it.

Chris, there is no chance that the RS cable is the same as the TARA Labs Prism for one main reason. Are the RS's conductor stranded or is it a solid core conductor? TARA cables have always been Solid Core round conductor for the Prism lines. Only their RSC is Rectangular Core.

So do you also use solid core phone wire for your interenet connection or woven.Go ahead and piss away your money on interconnects. My extra money will go for more significant improvements.Like better speakers and amps or more DVD`s.The Radio Shack cables will work just fine and are very hard to beat for the money.I learned my lesson along time ago after I spent over $700.00 on cables.
