My wife and I are Sony freaks and brand loyal, but this player has given us serious headaches and considering jumping the Sony ship for good.

Audio/Video meltdown approx 1hr into DVD. Problem occured little over one year after buying.

Let's see...picture freezes, skips and fails on a regular basis. Don't buy it. Don't buy Sony.

Occasional problems, ever since we bought it. Skipping was the biggest problem. We thought we had bad discs, but it now appears that the DVD player is bad. Shows "C:13:00" error, repeatedly, for not good reason. As such, there are many DVDs that we have been unable to play.

Worked great for a year.

Everything went wrong after that. Skips when changing layers, gives "no disc" errors, and some "C 13 00" error. It is completely unusable now.

This is the worst DVD player. Do not purchase it. In fact, I would not recommend considering any Sony DVD players.
