None Purchased this Studio CC at Hi-Fi sales during there once a year for $400. A little more than I was expecting to pay but the salesmen said it was the best of the best. He was right!! When I first plugged it in I couldn't believe my ears-what clarity! |

Weakness:
the extra-wide binding posts can surprise you if you have some standard spade plugs on your speaker cables I bought this center channel based solely on the performance of the Studio/60's and the reviews I found online. I was not disappointed. By all means, bi-wire it. It's a great match for the Studio speakers (not surprising, considering Paradigm's reputation for quality and the fact that it uses the same drivers as the rest of the Reference line). Very worthwhile speaker. Similar Products Used: Bose |

Strength:
Exceptional clarity. Great low frequency extension for its size. Terrific value for the price.
Weakness:
None. This is the best center channel speaker for its price (MSRP $500). I don't know if there's anything better. The dialogue is extremely natural and clear. You can run the Studio/CC pretty much full range, it has good bass. This speaker gives you true audiophile quality for mid-fi price. |

Strength:
Clean, natural sounding center channel
Weakness:
NONE I can't add much to what's been said, but this is really a terrific value speaker. It's not much more than the cheaper Paradigm CCs, and at $500, it's a steal!! It really brings movies to life, and makes any speech sound natural and distinct. It's not overly bright, and has a surprising amount of bass detail. I'm totally satisfied, although I did have to custom-build a stand to mount it on top of my Proscan, which has a slanted back. it's fairly heavy, as it needs a fair bit of internal bracing to play loud without producing extraneous resonances. It's the best buy in the Reference line, and a quick upgrade to any home theater system. Similar Products Used: Polk, B&W CDM |

Strength:
Great detail, base response and all over soundstage
Weakness:
None at all I purchased this from my local dealer. What great piece this is to my system. I had the energy line before I upgraded to what I have now. I tried out he cc-350 and studio cc side by side. I foung that the studio was smoother and not as bright as the cc-350. Don't get me wrong the CC-350 sounded grat but i liked the studio better, and when needed that studio cc did not have any probs. outputing any high notes at all. I feel that when you are getting into this home theater and home stereo setups...if you can get as high as you can afford. And your center channel is VERY important to home theater setups. I highly recommend the Studio cc. Trust me test it out and you will not consider anything else..... Similar Products Used: Energy Exl:exlc |

Strength:
Perfect balance with Studio 20's, stout cabinet, excellent soundstage. I love this center! Enough bass weight to make all center channel information seem realistic, but never any chestiness, and the cabinet never transmits any resonances through my TV. Unlike some other centers, this speaker also provides a wide enough image that it is not easy to pinpoint it's location when playing music in surround modes, and does not localize movie effects to the center of the screen. Many centers seem to compress all dialogue and effects to a single spot right below the speaker, whereas the Paradigm plays effects in the proper place on the screen at all times. I highly recommend this speaker, and also mating it with the Studio 20's. I am going to experiment with bi-wiring it also, as when I did this with my Studio 20's it was night and day. Strength:
Detailed Mids & high range, Great timbrel match with Studio 60's V2
Weakness:
None Well folks, just purchased the Studio CC to match my Studio 60's I bought back in April. I love the Studio 60's and wanted to eventually get the center channel to match tonally. Of course the Reference CC does this since it has the exact same tweeter and midrange woofers (2 X 6.5") as the Studio 60's so it matches seamlessly with the 60's. So far I have tried this speaker out on 5 channel stereo and even though I'm not a big fan of 5 channel stereo, it sounds tremendous. I have yet to pop a decent DVD movie in yet, but the voices when running regular TV through it are very clean and clear (provided the TV signal is relatively clean). I did listen to the Eagles Hell Freezes Over DTS DVD and this as expected, sounds gorgeous. Compared to the setup with the the old CC200 I had, the clarity and detail are so much better. The bass also seems to have more extension that the CC200. Similar Products Used: Paradigm CC200 |

Weakness:
NONE I can't add anything that has not already been said. This speaker is truly awesome. The details it reproduces are accurate, mids are perfect, highs are clear and just the right amount of punch for the lows. Voices are life like for both men and women. Dialogue is never muddy even when there are a lot of other sound effects happening. Similar Products Used: JBL |

Strength:
Very good detail and timbral accuracy. Matches very well with the other studio series speakers.
Weakness:
On the larger and heavier side, but not excessively so. An excellent sounding product for the money. If you already have paradimes, then you must get these for your center-don't waste your time as I did trying to find a bargin. It just won't sound right. Voices sound really clear and just right. It is EXCELLENT with music, so I find I can now listen to DTS encoded CD's with pleasure and it adds a LOT to the soundstage. It is outstanding with movies. It works well with my studio 20V.2 mains, a pair of Dahlquist isobaric subs, and Boston Acoustic in-wall surrounds. Similar Products Used: El Cheapo Yamaha center(yuk) and a very good energy one (AC300?)that didn't quite match my other paradimes (close though). |

Zip Just a superior product, well made with great sound. Vocals sound like that person is in your room. Much better imaging than the Def Tech and I thought that was good till I heard these. They match well with Paradigm other Studio series. Similar Products Used: Def Tech |
