I bought 2 pair of these Acoustic Design for 300.00 from the same white van but I did''nt give them beer money! did you?? I think they sound incredible for the price I paid and would buy 4 more if I had the opportunity!

There will always be a market for people who are looking for a "good deal" on speakers, 2. Refunds are available (which you can attest to,) 3. The speakers are excellent quality, just read the reviews of people who got past the method used to sell them, 4. The name Acoustic Image is not being used illegally, 5. Selling these speakers is not illegal, nor are the terms used in the sales pitch, 6. These salesman make more than you believe it or not, and don''t have to kiss the corporate a** and adhere to the corporate standards you do, and for the $250 an hour you claim to make, that''s what your company bills it''s clients for for your work you do. I didn''t pay too much for the Acoustic Image 6.5 Mini Tower, plus they were in a new unopened box. Therefore, I can probably resale them in my computer store.

I thought the guys were serious and sincerely, BUT I was SCAMMED, too!!! My weakness was my TRUST!!! I thought I was getting something of value for LESS!!!

Several guys in a white van approached me with some sad story about working as Independent Carriers for a local shipping company and they had some extra audio product to sell. I had just made a deposit and they wanted me to give them $1200 for the speaker. I told them I only had $200 in cash and although we haggled about the price, I only gave them $200. Maybe they are worth that amount or more!!! Now after reading other people report, I now know that I was SCAMMED!!! Maybe I can resell them and recoup my investment.

Hey, You guys are a bunch of whiners... I bought the 6.5s and brought them home. I worked as one of those guys that sold these speekers so I got them at cost to the salesmen. But becuase most of the people that have complained about them seem to have not yet pluged them in yet you feel like your able to bash them. These are by far the best speekers that I''ve heard and most of you spent like $400 and I want you to try to get a surround sound system for that price that sounds that good or better.

They could take 700W, they don''t crack under pressure and their pretty clear.

I brought the towers from three guys in probably the same white van, for $400. Believe it, when I got home I thought i was scammed too. I looked it up and saw all these reviews and then I was furious. I basically wanted to rip them a new one,( if you know what i mean). However, I decided that before i track those ba*&%$ds down I was going to see what these speakers could really do. I decided to take them to a studio and test them. Using a 500W amp these things kicked almost like a set of Bose speakers. Running it through a mixer and a digital ecko chamber, digital eq, a demention 3 and digital sound system(700W in all) and a few other stuff for the heck of it, really surprised me with the results. I really hope that all of you got the same speakers i got and they were not different, as far as the scam goes. And if so, try running them through a 500w amp you will be surprised with the results. I didn''t buy the sub from them though. If you have a very large house and you want heavy base the woofers will really kick but quite frankly the towere speakers kick out great base of there own. For all you people who still have them and did not take your revenge by trashing the speakers, take my advice and use a 500w amp.

I purchased the Acoustic Image 6.5 at a outlet store in California floor models 60%off retail great mids and highs i also got the sub-woofer both products are great. Most of the comments and reviews that i have read here are not even review, very few of the people that have purchased haven''t even hooked them up, the people that have like the product. I say stop whining and start listening!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I got a good price. According to the people here they bought just the speaker set for $200-400. I was able to get the home theatre set and subwoofer for 300. According to one of the sellers, they pay $130 for the sub and 225 for the home theater. I have no idea if this is true or not but I may have gotten a decent to reasonable quality home theater system with sub for less than my car payment.

Another unsatisfied customer who did not get his money back. You can return these speakers without receipt if you are willing to go through some trouble to get it. Find your local distributor, Scamshield.com is great resource and will give you tips about finding where the company is located. I have yet to hook up these speakers because I really don''t want or need them. I don''t have a good system and don''t want to spend more money on audio equipment.

Wow... I just bought these things today not knowing what the hell I was thinking earlier. I haven''t even plugged these boys in yet, kinda thinking I was ripped off so I bumped into this site trying to find some info on this brand of speaker. Judging by all the negative reviews, I guess I was right. Well... for 400 bucks I''m gonna rip the name off the speakers, plug them in, hoping they are not too bad, and tell anyone who asks that I bought these at a yard sale for 20 bucks. Some lessons can really cost ya. Man!!!!
