all these bad reviews i have a question. in your honest opinion, does anyone think these speakers are worth $300? i mean if they retail for $1200 or even close to that, wouldn''t they be worth the amount of money i paid for ''em? m''just curious. thx for any replies. |

Good speakers for a walkman

Everything you could think of I can''''t believe I got taken by this scam. These 2 guys pulled up in a white van and gave me some story about how they have extra speakers or something. One guy offered to hook them up in my house. So we did and they sounded ok, but not worth 400 dollars, but he insisited they were worth over a thousand and talked me into giving him my couch. Great speakers -Great price
Weakness:
Van drivers were a strange bunch I have had numerous sets of speakers throughout my life and although they all sound good --they were all bought at expensive prices. I picked up a pair of 6.5 for 300$ and not once have regreted it. The salesman/van drivers my have been a little off- but the speakers sound GREAT and the price and experience couldn''t be beat. Acoustic Image has been around for a while and is definately part of the elite. The funniest part of all the reviews that were posted is that not one of you complained about the quality of the speakers. So what exactly are you complaining about? watching this hustle unfold...truly entertaining
Weakness:
dirtbag, X poppin'' ravers...posing as salesmen - Hey Craig from Toronto.......You are wrong. The guy in the van uses false and misleading sales tactics to close the sale. The salesman even provides the customer with a reciept ..complete with a state tax number. A leagal sales transaction has occurred....same as if you are buying from THE WIZ. If I buy merchandise fromTHE WIZ and I decide that the salesman misrepresented the product....or the the product simply does not perform as advertised or to my satisfaction....I can return the product for a full refund. 100% of the time, if a product is returned within three days of purchase the customer is owed his money back...no questions asked. If the saleman..or the company in question is unavailable fore those three days in question..it is not the consumers problem. The customer is entitled to his money back........regardless if there is implied deception by both parties....Get you facts straight....and by the way...your speakers suck Similar Products Used: Fire wood |

Stellar Performance!!! I only told one person and it happened to him 2 years ago.
Weakness:
Being scammed, wasting money, feeling like a chump Well, my guys drove a grey yukon but the result was the same...I got taken. The only consolation I can take from the whole experience is reading everyone''s stories on this site. They were both young guys but the asian guy (you know who you are) did all of the talking and it was a great performance. Their excitement level was amazing. The sad thing is that I knew better but did it against my better judgement. If anyone in this area has had any luck getting their money back, please post it. I will follow Jame''s advice (thank you) but I have my doubts. I have filed a police report and I hope to see these guys again. |

They aren''t bad speakers, not worth $400, not even worth $200
Weakness:
Not worth what labeled I wish I had found this site earlier on before I ran into these guys. I got taken outside my home by two guys in a white van who said they had speakers and home theater. They gave me some story about how they were worth thousands and they were selling them cheap. One guy said he''d hook it up in my house. Long story short he just finished hooking them up and I gave the guy 400 dollars. The guy wasn''t satisfied with the 400 dollars and wanted more. I ended up giving him my couch. I CAN''T BELIEVE I WAS TAKEN BY THIS SCAM. I hope these people are locked up for a long time. Similar Products Used: Bose, JBL, Kenwood |

My brother just got taken by this scam. I have noticed several posts on the net regarding people whining and complaining poor me.blah blah blah. One thing that all these people fail to realize is that they deserve what happened to them. I''ll tell you why. The speaker vendors all claim to be delivery people for an electronics warehouse with the "hey I accidentally got sent this extra pair of speakers" song and dance. It’s very simple. If they were a delivery company and they were sent an extra pair of speakers by mistake and they kept them, then they are in possession of stolen property. Since the scammer tells the potential victims this story, the victim is now an accessory to this crime. If the potential victims continue to purchase these speakers, they are theoretically buying stolen property. Therefore with this intent, albeit victim or scam artist you are all committing a crime. Therefore there is no such thing as a victim in this kind of a scan. Its simply one criminal taking advantage of another if you believe you are buying a pair of speakers that "fell off a truck" you are knowingly buying stolen property from a thief. Therefore, if you were taken in by this scam, you have no basis to claim yourself as a victim. |
