well i havent used speaker at all i also got duped by them with home theater system that you cant use.there is no reciever to hook all the stuff up to and no cables or wires.also the guy was a hispanic gang banger type and came from illinois.

The highs are great and the bass is better.

None that I can hear

Although I know it's a scam these are worth every dollar I paid. These are awesome speakers. If someone stops you, give them whatever they ask (to a certain extent). $400 is worth it.

Actually they don't sound that bad. Great Bass and the treble isn't to bad either! For surround sound purposes, they really crank.

The cones are kinda cheesy, And their definatley not worth $800.00. But for $200.00, I can live with them!

Yep! Same thing as everyone else! These guy's had the same story about how they needed 300.00 bucks to get out of trouble with the boss! I figured they were hot but looked pretty good when they took them out of the box. He had a whole truck full of them so I suspected something was up from the get-go! Do Not pay more then 300.00 for em!

I heard about the scam after I purchased the speakers for six months. For the money I paid for the quality are excellent..As far as sound it id really good.. Clarity is thumbs up! lot's of base too..

What a slap in the face! I bought to pairs of the speakers for $500. Two good things though, My dad is a laywer, and when I came home and looked these speakers up on the internet and found out about all of this BS, Luckly I didn't sign my name on the check I gave them and went and cancled it before had the time to cash it . The id that the guys by "Mike" is fake but so is the whole scam. These are papercone speakers and they really suck so dont turn them up to loud or put to many watts to them or the cones will rip. Wish I would have been thinking right that day, Damn it!

I bought this a year ago and have listen to them since then, I love these speakers. May be I got the different model so they sound apart from the 830r...I just listened to Pink Floyd's The Wall, Celine Dion's A New Day Has Come, Garth Brook's Roping The Wind, Britney Spear (big bass), Stevai's first solo album and some intrumentals, and I must say it a revelation...I think mine is Digital Audio 3810LS make by Apex. My amp and CD player are Pioneer, I have run Bose 601, acoustic 5, JBL, and infinity thru this amp and they sounded ok, but the 3810 sound much much better and I love to crank them up. I had checked out the Klipsch KLF 10 & Polk Audio RT800i hooked up with a some $3000+ Denon amp at the local store and they don't sound that good in term of listen to music. I want to build a pair DIY and see how they'll sound. the 3810 don't sound bright or boomy so I listen to them for hour sometimes 4 hours without fatigue. They are 3-way so the midrange sounds real good and especially the vocal and accoustic intruments. The crossover did a good job on the treble and the bass, sounds are very accurate and tight. Some of the albums sound like there're the party inside the cabinets. I love how the sounds project out so nicely, it depends on how the music was recorded, some albums sound like I was there at the jazz hall because certain sound bounce out in different distance at me very pleasantly. I love my 3810ls speakers.

Looks like I bought into the same scam everyone else did. However, for $220, the sound quality is good when listening to music, and even better when watching movies. Compared similar speakers in this price range and was very satisfied with purchase.
