I am not sure if I got had, but judging by what everyone else is saying apparently I did. I just bought them off of a guy who said that his company over ordered. He said they were worth about $1500.00 each. Lesson learned.

Needs an EQ to sound good... need to dial your frequencies in.

Ok, just got the things off the SUV, with the "bonded carrier" that stated that he got 4 pair versus 4 speakers and was trying to unload 1 pair. I bit, 225 later, I'm unpacking and listing to them... At first I was disappointed, but I put my old EQ on and they sprang to life. I figure that for 112.50 each, it was a bargin. Don't pay over 250 or 300 for a pair.

Yeah these speakers are decent. High's are piercing and lows are muddled, but hey for $30 its not that bad. Actually I like the cabinets and am going to replace the drivers. Well at least I didnt buy it out of a van...I got mine second hand from a guy who bought them out of a van. But comeon these are at least as good as KLF's, Cerwin Vegas, Sonys and any other cheapo speaker at BestBuy/Frysish type of stores.

I guess I got scammed. But I'm not sure what to think of it yet. These guys said they worked for a delivery company that over stated a shipment...it was a very elaborate scheme,

They actually sound really great, but from what I understand it is a scam. But I'm not really sure how it is a scam since I got 2 speakers that sound great. I would love to hear more about how these guys got the speakers and why they are selling them out of a van.
