Have seen this sub priced at over $600 Cdn. in magazines, purchased it at Costco/Price Club in Ottawa for $299 + tax. Solid construction, 12" front firing driver with rubber surround, dual front ports, 300W auto-on amp, rotary controls for volume, cutoff, and phase. Speaker level input and output with binding posts, not spring clips, and high pass filter on speaker outputs to satellites. |

I have owned this sub for about two years now and anyone how would rates this sub negatively, considering the price of under $300.00 Canadian, are up-set because they paid too much for their sub how happen to sound just as good!!!!!!! |

None I could find I bought this sub at my local Costco after conducting some on-line resaerch. The positive reviews on this site and the price were enough for me to give it a try. This is my first subwoofer purchase and I have not been disappointed. I am not an audio expert, but I sure like the sound this sub produces. The different level controls proved useful in helping me tweak the unit to my room and speaker set-up. I have a couple of smaller BIC bookshelf speakers and this unit provides the neccesary bass to make the whole room ROCK! I would heartily recommend this sub to anyone. |

Weakness:
none Bought this 12" subwoofer at Price Club because I had just upgraded to DD/DTS Technics 930 receiver for HT. Compared all the lower and midrange subs available and it matched or beat their specs and beat their price by a big margin. Paid $278 plus tax. Next cheapest was 8" paradigm for over a $100 more. |

it's Solid, it sounds awsome, excellent quality!
Weakness:
None so far, (size maybe, but then again, it's a twelve inch!) I went ahead and read the reviews for this sub and knew I would not be disapointed. So I went out and bought it. Well as everyone says, it's a winner!! no doubt about it. I had not heard of the company before, eventhough they're located near my place. I hooked up the sub a couple of weeks ago and I am very satisfied. for 299$ (can) its hard to find a good solid sub in that price range. Not only for the price, but also the quality of sounds that come's out of it. I have heard other subs that costs higher and I must say that I'm happy to have found something HALF the price with excellent bass!! my final word ? go for it!! N/A Can't say enough about the D-Box this is a very musical sub that can also fill the room with deep, clean sound. I had recently upgraded my speaker system to Klipsch all around and was using a $400 sub AudioProfile that wasn't very clean. It did not blend well with the Klipsch speakers, so I went sub shopping. I bought the D-Box and have been very happy with it. The cabinet size is the same as my old model, but the clean sound and room filling bass make it a winner. A true 5-star sub.
