I've owned this speaker for about 2 1/2 years and haven't thought much about it. My other speakers are the RS2000.6 and RS2000.3. The drivers seem to be the mid/tweeter sections of the Overture 3 and RS10. Recently I've heard friends' new systems with Boston and Energy speakers and must say the CC3 is great. I just didn't realize how good it was until I heard speakers that had colorations. My brother has the top of the line Mirage center speaker (I don't remember the model #) and it is clearly better, but perhaps not when price is taken into consideration. The Mirage goes MUCH deeper but I'm not convinced that that is an asset for a center speaker. On soundtracks it sometimes makes male voices sound too chesty, but for music it does sound more neutral. Either way, my brother confessed that he usually sets his processor up for a small center channel (80 Hz). The CC3 never calls attention to itself, which is exactly what you want. Great speaker and an excellent value. |

Purchased this center today, and my advice to you is go out and buy it. You will not be dissapointed. Mids are sharp and the high's are crystal clear. The control knobs on the back for the mids and highs make it great for sound matching. Nice and heavy which is an added bonus. Alot better than the Pioneer center that was before it. I was totally blown away when I popped in my copy of Lethel Weapon 4. Perfect center for my system. Not the best for audiophiles, but not much is good enough for them. If you want a good priced HT setup, start with the CC-3, then get 4 of the Infinity RS-3's and top it off with the Infinity BU-120 sub. Even in Pro-Logic, this setup sounds better than my local cineplex. I am serious. You can't go wrong with this center. Now I know why Infinity get mostly high reviews, because folks know good quality when they hear it. Later all. |

I also got this at shop4.com ($199 + shipping). This speaker has a very clean detailed sound -- dialogue is very clear. It matches well with to the Infinity Overture 2's. |

I haven't bought this speaker yet, but I had listen to it and other central speakers. I know people do appreciate sound quality. CC-3 gives you the sound quality that will amaze you and then some. I can't add anything new other than what all people here posted. Great speaker with great sound. Highly recommended. Match very well with any other front Infinity speakers. You can get it for less than $200 (shipped) at mercata.com (power buy with $50-off). |

Strength:
Astounding clarity, definition, and over all sound. PRICE! PRICE! PRICE! Looks nice, too.
Weakness:
A tad bit light on the bass. I just purchased this center speaker about 2 months ago an I am throuthly pleased with it. For the price I paid for it ($219.00), I don't think you can really do much better. I bought it to replace the Bose VCS 10 center (because that one rally sucked). The CC-3 has astounding clarity, definition and can get quite loud for a smaller size center. It is, however, a tad bit light on the bass, but I'm not hardly complaining about that. I actulally compared it with Definitive Tech's Pro-Cinema 300 center and thought the CC-3 sounded better. I also truly love the fact that there are adjustable tweeter and mid-range controls on the back so it can be matched with many other speaker brands. An exceptional speaker at an exceptional price! Weakness:
Light on the bass response I recently purchased the Infinity CC3 from Mercata for $162.00 with free shipping. The CC3 has very clear and detailed sound which matches well with my Overture 1's. |

Strength:
Great voice reproduction, and matching control. Great look.
Weakness:
Little light in the bottom end. I bought the CC-3 to match my Compositions Prelude by Infinity (cant find the matching P-CC center).and I wasn’t disappointed. After the CC-3 broke in, the dialog and screen sounds came through with outstanding clarity. The tone matching controls helped get the right matching sound quickly. I recommend putting on the white noise and tweaking with two people in the room and agree on the sound. Do this again in a couple of months after the break in because the sound will change a bit. Also seems to sound best on the “small” setting on your SP. Great job Infinity on building a good center channel at a great price. |

Strength:
Clear, natural and detailed sound
Weakness:
very loud, you may have to adjust speaker balance A very clear, natural and detailed sound. Human voices are perfect. What more can you ask for? This is not a full range speaker (you'll need to set your bass management to small). The tone controls are great for matching the tonal color of the CC3 to you main speakers. This speaker is very loud and I actually had to turn it down a few db to balance with my Kappa 5.1s. Similar Products Used: JBL Control |

Strength:
sound quality and build..
Weakness:
the drivers are smaller than what Iam used to ( but then again they are supposed to be that size) and I can't think of any other complaint I bought this brand because everything else that I have is Infinity.. and continuity is very important to me. I have watched several dvd's in both DD and DTS.. and I am totally blown away. this was most definantly the missing link in my Home Theatre System. Well that and the DVD player that came with it. even if you don't have infinity speakers these are most definantly worth your time to check out. Similar Products Used: Boston acoustics, B&W..
