I have recently purchased a pair of Overture 2 for $1,200 and I am really impressed with the qauality and clarify of the sound. On a scale of 1 to 5 I must give it five stars.

After hearing many different speakers at numerous sound rooms I decidedthat the ones that sounded best to me were the Overture 2's. Only one
problem, the price! Circuit City wanted $1800 and known internet sites
wanted between $1200-$1400 for a pair. Then I found that UBID had some
of the discontinued (cherry finish) models in new condition with 5 year
warrantee for $367 each plus shipping. SOLD! These speakers are incredible.
I didn't know that speakers could sound this good. Best upgrade I have ever made.

I spent two months auditioning speakers, and the Overture 2's have by far the best sound for the money. They have the same clean & clear midrange as the more expensive OVTR3's, but with slightly less bass.
Speaker selection is a subjective thing so take it for what it's worth. I compared the OVTR2's favorably to Infinity RS and SM models, Polk RT800/1000/2000, Klipsch, Paradigm Monitor 9, DefTech ProTower 400 and Mission 70x to name a few.

In a word, these things ROCK. I'm using OVTR1's for surrounds, I'll be getting another for the center channel (OVTR1-CC) when my wallet fills back up :-)

I recently purchased two of these speakers from ubid for $347.00 ea. These speakers are tremendous! I upgaded from second hand Fisher bookshelf speakers and these infinities sound even better than I could have imagined. They have breathed new life into my CD collection. I was a little worried that they might be too much speaker for my appartment, but even a lower volumes these speakers produce clean full-range sound (probably due to their built in bass amplifiers) I can't wait to hear these with my soon-to-arrive Harman AVR 45. I highly recommend these speakers, 5 stars indeed!

I purchased 4 of these from UBID.COM @ $347each including shipping and I must say that they rock. The highs are very vivid and crisp and the low-end is just right and not boomy. At full retail, I don't think the speakers are worth the price, but at $347 it's a fantastic deal. I still need to break them in and see how they sound, but overall I give it 5 *****'s.

I bought these wonders last November and believe me, they are simply fantastic: crisp, acurate sound, tight bass and wide soundstage. Here in Mexico we cannot benefit from places like ubid.com, but I got a good deal (US$ 550 each) and I'm absolutely satisfied. I give the Overture 2 my five stars.

I've now had these speakers for about 6 months. everytime I listen to a CD that I havent heard in a while I hear NEW things in it. The sound coming out of these babies is STELLAR!!!!! I cannot stress enuff how awesome thses speakers are. I got them for $700/pair on Ubid
