The VT-2's are the bomb! Staging from these speakers is from the center of the room. The imaging is great and the sound is clean. These speakers rock hard! As for as movies is concern, the VT-2's will have your listening area smoking. I like to listen to rock-n-roll but if you like jazz, the VT-2's will put a live band in your house! |

I bought my vt-2,vs2,vs2a,swpi3 set up about 1 year ago. It is connected to a yamaha dsp-3090 and a yamaha laser disc/cd. It sounds awesome. I can hear things that make you think you are "there". Incredible sound from any good rock and roll or ac-3 movie. I listened to a lot of set ups before I bought one. This one kicks butt. Since I am no audiophile I don't have a lot of experience but I would strongly recommend these speakers and this set up. |

Highly recommended...VT-2 with matching VS-2a, HDP-2 and M&K V-125 are the best speakers out there for my Pioneer VSX-07TX receiver. |

Just purchased the VT2's and a NHT AC1 center and I love them. I think I got them at a pretty good price 1700 for all three. Unbeliveable sound stage, but know I need to upgrade my reciever they are power hungary. |

I waited 20 years to finally make the plunge into a pair of high end speakers. I was listening to a pair of Infinity RS-5's with a 15" Velodyne sub. Acoustically how much better could my listening room/home theater possibly get...Well, let me tell you, I was skeptical at first spending hard earned money on a pair of speakers but after purchasing the VT-2's from NHT I am convinced that you CAN hear the difference between a $600 pair and a $1500 pair! Initially, I had them wired with one Adcom amp (GFA555)running both the high and low inputs. They sounded really good! But I wanted a little more punch. So I hooked up another 555 and biamped them. Wow!! Bass a tight as I have ever heard. |

For the past year+ I have owned a pr. of VT-2 towers along with VS-2 center and rears. AC-3 sounds awesome--great imaging. I am thinking about adding an NHT SA-3 amp to biamp. Any thought out there? I also own a Denon AVR-3200. Thanks for any responses. |

I was initially looking at the NHT 2.5i's but after listing to them on a krell amp with the rock 'n' roll and blues cd's i brought, they really sounded like shit because they where analog recordings. This taught me one lesson: I AM NOT AN AUDIOPHILE!! unless you have a pristine digital recording it's gonna sound like shit on that solid state ultra audiophile equipment. we then tried a Pioneer Elite vsx-07tx and it sounded a whole lot better but the lower midrange sounded muddy, so we then tried the VT-2's. These are serious Rock 'n'Roll speakers!! you could feel the music humpin and pumping, the bass was alot tighter than the 2.5i's and there was alot more of it, the music was flying all over the room HUGE soundstage ,as I belive they call it.I strongly suggest you buy these mated with the pioneer elite recievers for a kick ass Rock 'n' Roll system |
